My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Each year, the Pastoral Services Appeal (PSA) of the Diocese of Orange gives us the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in our Diocese and beyond. Your generous support helps fund vital ministries such as retirement care for our beloved diocesan priests; ongoing formation for seminarians, priests, and deacons; training for lay ministers; and education for thousands of families through our Catholic schools. 

Every dollar raised beyond this year’s PSA goal comes directly back to Christ Cathedral Parish for our own parish needs. Today, together with my brother priests— Fr. Ian, Fr. Khoi and Fr. Carlos—I humbly ask you, first, to help us reach our 2026 PSA goal of $186,000, and second, to help us raise Two hundred thousand dollars beyond that goal to build the Perpetual Adoration Chapel.

As of July 1, 2026, 1,108 families have participated, with pledges totaling $259,000. Thanks to your generosity, we have exceeded our PSA goal. Our parish will receive approximately $73,000 in rebate funds, which will be dedicated to the construction of the Perpetual Adoration Chapel beneath the Crean bell tower. While we celebrate this achievement, WE STILL NEED APPROXIMATELY $127,000 TO COMPLETE THE CHAPEL. Construction is underway, and the Chapel is scheduled to be blessed by Bishop Kevin Vann on October 14, 2026. Once completed, the Chapel will be open 24/7/365, offering a sacred space for continual Eucharistic adoration and prayer. TO DONATE, VISIT CHRISTCATHEDRALCALIFORNIA.ORG/PSA/ OR SCAN THE QR CODE. We invite you to continue supporting this effort so the Chapel can be completed in time for its dedication on October 14, 2026.
