Dear Christ Cathedral Parish Family: All parishioners and their families are warmly invited to join us for one, some, or all of the Ten Special Lenten Days. Together we will celebrate Ash Wednesday, two Lenten Talks, one Penance Service, and especially six Lenten Friday evenings with Soup and the Stations of the Cross, as we journey through the season of Lent beginning on Ash Wednesday, with prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. As we prepare our hearts for Easter, these sacred liturgical practices offer us a valuable opportunity to slow down, reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection, and strengthen our faith through communal worship and fellowship. By praying together, participating in the Missions and the Stations of the Cross, and sharing a simple soup on Fridays, we renew our commitment to living the true spirit of Lent. Join us in prayer and penance on this Lenten journey of 2026.

Juntos celebraremos el Miércoles de Ceniza, dos Charlas Cuaresmales, un Servicio Penitencial y, de manera especial, Seis Viernes Cuaresmales por la tarde con Sopa y el Vía Crucis, mientras recorremos el tiempo de Cuaresma comenzando el Miércoles de Ceniza, con oración, ayuno y limosna. Mientras preparamos nuestros corazones para la Pascua, estas sagradas prácticas litúrgicas nos ofrecen una valiosa oportunidad para detenernos, reflexionar sobre el sacrificio y la resurrección de Cristo, y fortalecer nuestra fe mediante la adoración comunitaria y la fraternidad. Al orar juntos, participar en las Charlas y en el Vía Crucis, y compartir una sencilla sopa los viernes, renovamos nuestro compromiso de vivir el verdadero espíritu de la Cuaresma. Kính gửi Đại Gia đình Giáo xứ Chính Tòa Chúa Kitô: Tất cả quý Ông Bà Anh Chị Em và mọi gia đình trân trọng được kính mời tham dự một, một vài, hoặc toàn bộ Mười Ngày Đặc Biệt Mùa Chay. Cùng nhau, chúng ta sẽ cử hành Thứ Tư Lễ Tro, hai buổi Tĩnh Tâm Mùa Chay, một buổi Xưng Tội, và đặc biệt sáu buổi tối Thứ Sáu Mùa Chay với Súp Chay đơn sơ và việc đi Đàng Thánh Giá, khi chúng ta cùng đồng hành trong mùa Chay bắt đầu từ Thứ Tư Lễ Tro, với cầu nguyện, ăn chay và bác ái. Trong khi chuẩn bị tâm hồn đón mừng lễ Phục Sinh, những thực hành phụng vụ thánh thiêng này mang đến cho chúng ta một cơ hội quý giá để sống chậm lại, suy niệm về hy lễ và sự Phục Sinh của Chúa Kitô, và củng cố đức tin qua việc thờ phượng và tình hiệp thông huynh đệ. Khi cùng nhau cầu nguyện, tham dự các buổi tĩnh tâm và việc đi Đàng Thánh Giá, và chia sẻ súp chay đơn sơ vào các ngày Thứ Sáu, chúng ta canh tân quyết tâm sống trọn vẹn tinh thần đích thực của Mùa Chay. Hãy cùng đồng hành với chúng tôi trong cầu nguyện và sám hối trên hành trình Mùa Chay năm 2026 này.
