DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday evening\, March 25th\, 2025\, gather at Christ Cathedral for a Choral Adoration in celebration of the Feast of the Annunciation. Originally commissioned by the National Shrine in D. C. for the 150th Anniversary Celebration of the Proclamation of the Doctrine of the Immaculate Conception\, Come\, let us worship includes a poetic Marian text by Anthony Corvaia set to one of the oldest Catholic hymntunes ISTE CONFESSOR. Ben’s new setting of this hymn will use the full resources of the Hazel Wright Organ and the Diocesan Choir to musically color and enhance this already beautiful hymn. Other music by living composers will also be featured in this service including Anna K. Jacobs’s Ave Maria for double choir\, and Robert Lehman’s Annunciation Carol.

La entrada es gratuita. \n\n \nThe diocesan Office of Hispanic Ministry and the Hispanic Priests’ Committee invite you to attend the Fiesta Guadalupana on Saturday\, December 7\, 2024\, at Christ Cathedral\, from 9 am to 4 pm. This year’s celebration includes Solemn Mass at 11:15 am\, where all priests are invited to concelebrate. A Fiesta Celebration at 12:15 pm\, with traditional Mexican food\, music\, and dances. The Holy Rosary and Procession at 3:00 pm. No registration is required. Admission is free.

SUMMARY:Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe at Christ Cathedral
DESCRIPTION:From Nov. 1 through Nov. 24\, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange will be hosting a tour of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The Image is a Catholic Church-authorized digital image of the original Guadalupe tilma that dates to 1531 and is displayed above the main altar at the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
